EINSIEDELN
In the town of Einsiedeln, our magnificent residence called the Zentrum, overlooks the Sihl Sea and provides wonderful views of the high Swiss Alps. The setting is rural, a ten minute walk into the town and to the rococo basilica of the Black Madonna. Einsiedeln is a sacred place of pilgrimage for many and is a true jewel of the Swiss countryside.
JUNGFRAU AND LAUTERBRUNNEN
For those who choose to go on the weekend trip (at own cost) to the magnificent Swiss Alps, we will arrange for bus transportation and hotel for the group. Lauterbrunnen is a delightful village in the Alps. For those who wish, there will be an opportunity for a mountain hike to another lovely Swiss village, Murren. You can choose to take the train ride to Murren instead of doing the hike. Either way, you will see the awesome Jungfrau as you journey. If the day is clear, some of the group may choose to take a tram up to the top of the Jungfrau or the top of the Shilthorn.
Back in Lauterbrunnen we have the opportunity to go experience waterfalls inside a mountain. This is an extraordinary, unusual, powerful experience.
